EXPANSION DEVICE FOR ROAD BRIDGE JOINT PART, AND WATER CUT-OFF METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion device for a road bridge joint part, capable of preventing water from being leaked from the joint part.;SOLUTION: An expansion device 1 for a road bridge joint part comprises: a pair of face plates 2 which are disposed on both sides of a joint of a road bridge 7; a pair of hold metal fittings 3 disposed inside of the face plates; an expansion rubber 4 disposed between the hold metal fittings 3; and an expansion rubber holder 6 for supporting the expansion rubber 4 from a lower side. The hold metal fittings 3 are mounted to the face plates 2 by face plate mounting bolts 5. The face plate mounting bolt 5 is threaded to the hold metal fitting 3 from the outside of the face plate 2, and compresses the expansion rubber 4 to the inside of the hold metal fitting 3 at the distal end thereof. The expansion rubber 4 is disposed on the expansion rubber holder 6 installed between the hold metal fittings 3, and continuously extends in a length direction of the joint of the road bridge 7 in a seamless manner.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
