PURPOSE: An expandable joint waterproofing material of a structure including a road and bridge and a construction method of expandable joint by using the same is provided to prevent water film and icing phenomenon by inducing the smooth draining of subsurface water. CONSTITUTION: A construction method of expandable joint waterproofing material of a structure is composed like next. The spacing part(3) with open top is form on a road. Foreign materials are eliminated from the spacing part. Sealant is covered on the spacing part in order to form a waterproof layer(20). Filler is poured on upper space of the expandable joint waterproof material in order to form a fill layer(30). A finish layer(40) is formed by covering sealant on the filler.
