PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for a tsunami evacuation facility, excellent in work efficiency and capable of reducing a construction period.;SOLUTION: A construction method for a tsunami evacuation facility includes: a foundation formation step of installing a plurality of steel pipe piles in a ground to form a foundation; a step of constructing a tsunami evacuation facility body on the foundation; and a step of installing a staircase having a required height on a side of the constructed tsunami evacuation facility body. The step of constructing a tsunami evacuation facility body includes substeps of: lifting a front panel and a rear panel each assembled in a structure in which two props are connected by ties arranged therebetween and fixedly erecting the two panels faced to each other on the foundation; and lifting a connection member assembled in a structure in which a plurality of beam materials are arranged in parallel and connected to each other in advance and fixedly arranging the connection member so as to connect between the front panel and the rear panel.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
