PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to select a piece of music directly matched to a specific "year" without the necessity for the user to input information over and over again in a method or device for specifying "that year" for the user.;SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a search method or a search device for identifying a piece of karaoke music from a music database including index data in which pieces of music are matched for each year.
