PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an operator to instantaneously perform a retry by quickly noticing erroneous storage.SOLUTION: A storage 1 includes: a main body 1a; drawers 11, 12 and 13 attached to the main body so as to be manually drawn in a vertical direction. A plurality of gold bar storage parts capable of respectively storing a specific denomination of gold bar coin B are disposed in each drawer. The presence/absence and denominations of the gold bar coins B stored in each storage part of the drawers is determined on the basis of the vertical displacement of the drawers 11, 12 and 13 to be specified from the output of a rotary encoder E and the output of an optical diameter sensor S1. A control unit 16 contrasts the determined denominations with denominations stored in a memory M, and determines whether or not those denominations are coincident about each gold bar storage part of the drawers 11, 12 and 13.
