A cursor control device has a touch control module for users to perform a swipe gesture. The touch control module generates a control command according to the swipe gesture and transmits the control command to a host computer. The host computer then launches a swipe menu on an edge of a display screen thereof Accordingly, after a host computer with the Win8™ installed therein as the operating system receives the control command, the edge swipe function supported by the Win8™ can be launched.
