The present invention relates to a finger safety device for the hydro pneumatic assembly presses. The finger safety device consists of a mechanical safety device, an electronic safety system (press controller) and a unique safety program. The finger safety device can sense the entire non-metal component and automatically stop working, thereby reducing the accidental risk for the operators hand and fingers.
