The chain fillet guard (1) has sensor pieces (2), which have passages (3a) for chain fillets (K1,K2). The chain fillet clamping units (15,16,17) are clamped between the sensor pieces of the chain fillets, when the sensor pieces are moved in a rest position (R). The passages are formed between the rest position and a working position (A) for the chain fillets in the sensor pieces transversely to a reciprocating movement direction (T). An independent claim is included for a circular weaving machine for guiding multiple chain fillet to a circular reed.
