The present invention relates to Lactobacillus gasseri HY7025 effective in improving skin wrinkles and moisturizing and products containing the same as an active ingredient. The Lactobacillus gasseri HY7025 increases the production of hyaluronic acid and inhibits the expression of MMP-1 induced by ultraviolet rays and the phosphorylation and expression of c-Jun in vitro, and has excellent effects of improving skin wrinkles, recovering epidermal thickness, and moisturizing in photodamaged animal model using nude mice, and therefore be effective in improving skin wrinkles induced by photodamage and moisturizing, thereby being used as a drug, a food, and a cosmetic material for improving skin wrinkles and moisturizing.
