The present invention relates to a cosmetic material composition, a health functional food composition, a medical product, and a quasi-drug composition having effects of alleviating skin wrinkles, improving skin moisturizing, removing corneum, improving skin elasticity, suppressing erythema, and alleviating skin photoaging, comprising at least one selected from the group consisting of cymene, behenic acid, 2-methoxynaphthalene, thymol, and a salt thereof as an active ingredient. The cymene, behenic acid, 2-methoxynaphthalene, thymol, and salt thereof of the present invention exhibit activities of increasing a skin moisture content, decreasing a skin moisture evaporation amount, increasing a pro-collagen secretion amount, promoting collagen biosynthesis, controlling collagen fiber damage, suppressing collagen fiber decomposition, suppressing erythema, and suppressing hypertrophy of an outer skin layer, thereby being useful for materials of functional cosmetics, health functional foods, medical products, quasi-drugs, or the like providing effects of improving skin moisturizing, removing corneum, improving skin elasticity, alleviating skin wrinkles, suppressing erythema, and/or alleviating skin photoaging.
