The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a red ginseng concentrate and a red ginseng concentrate manufactured thereby and more specifically, to a method for manufacturing red ginseng concentrate comprising: a drying step for drying fresh ginseng at 40-80C; a steaming step for putting the dried ginseng into red clay earthenware and sealing, and steaming the ginseng at 110-130C; an impurities removing step for removing impurities from the red clay earthenware; a primary heat supplying step for wrapping the steamed ginseng with a hemp cloth, adding the ginseng with water in the earthenware, and supplying heat at a temperature of 85-95C for 8-13 hours; a second heat supplying step for stopping the supply of heat after the first heat supply and lowering the temperature to 45-55C, and additionally supplying heat to a temperature of 70-80C for 90-100 hours; and an aging step for stopping the second heat supply and aging the ginseng in the sealed red clay earthenware for 100-150 hours, and red ginseng concentrate manufactured by the method.
