FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: what is described is a method for bile lithogenicity test consisting in measuring its physical-chemical properties, with preparing bile dilution series of different concentrations: 1:1 and 1:2, passing a current of 0.01, 0.04, 0.08 and 0.1 mA through a flow electrode of a Joule metre, determining current work versus time for each sample, assessing the dynamics of current-voltage characteristics: if a current work is from 0.6 mcJ and more (in average 1.0±0.29 mcJ), the bile lithogenicity is considered to be high; if a current work is within the range of 0.07 to 0.6 mcJ (in average 0.35±0.18 mcJ), the bile lithogenicity is low.;EFFECT: method enables the reliable assessment of the physical-chemical properties of bile on the basis of the measured Joule metric parameters over a short period of time and determining an optimal time of the drain tube replacement.;2 ex, 3 dwg
