The invention relates to the medicine, in particular to the gastroenterology, namely to the method for diagnosing the increased lithogenicity of the bile. The method provides for multiphase duodenal probing followed by microscopy of the bile deposit and analysis of bile biochemistry. In addition, the bile is sampled from the bladder in the volume of 0.1 mL, and the specimen in the slide is prepared. The dried specimen (12 hours at the room temperature) is examined by X-ray diffraction. The location and the intensity of the diffraction peaks are assessed. The presence of the peak with the maximal angle of X-ray diffraction of 31.5-31.7 DEGREE is a diagnostic feature suggecting the chronic non-calculous cholecystitis. The presence of extra peaks with the maximal angle of X-ray diffraction of 28.2-28.4 DEGREE and 17.9-18.1 DEGREE suggests the increased lithogenicity of the bile regarded as the risk factor of the cholelithiasis.
