PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film for solar cell back sheet excellent in shielding property, not only preventing temperature increase under infrared irradiation, but also capable of improving electrical conversion efficiency of solar cells by reflecting light in an infrared region.;SOLUTION: There is provided a polyester film for solar cell back sheet satisfying following requirements (1) and (2). (1) a polyester resin composition constituting the polyester film is a polyester resin composition containing at least one kind selected from composite oxide containing a chromium element and an iron element, a composite oxide containing the chromium element and a copper element, a composite oxide containing the chromium element, the iron element and a cobalt element and its content is 0.5 wt.% to 5.0 wt.% based on the whole polyester resin composition constituting the polyester film. (2) following formula is satisfied 1.5R2/R1 Formula (1), where R1(%) is an average reflection rate to a light having a wavelength of 360 nm to 830 nm when the light is radiated to a surface of the polyester film and R2(%) is the average reflection rate to the light having the wavelength of 830 nm to 2000 nm when the light is radiated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
