PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic cell fractioning apparatus for accurately automatically fractioning cells even if the amount of a test sample is small.;SOLUTION: The automatic cell fractioning apparatus includes: a culture part 101 for accommodating a cell isolator 105 with a plurality of sticking spots where cells are stuck; a sorting part 102 for sorting and removing cells stuck to the sticking spots; and a control part 103 for controlling the culture part 101 and the sorting part 102. Stimulation responsive polymer whose state varies between a cell sticking state and a non-cell sticking state with stimulation is fixed to the surface of each sticking spot. The control part 103 obtains optical data of the cells stuck to each of the plurality of sticking spots by driving the sorting part 102, determines whether the cells are target cells or useless cells based on the optical data, and selectively collects the cells determined as the target cells.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
