A bill receiving arrangement comprising a bill receiving cavity (102) for receiving a bundle of bills, said bill receiving cavity (102) facing down and combining with a curved transition segment (103), receiving said curved segment (103) of transitioning bills from said bill receiving cavity (102) and guiding the bills at an upward angle towards a coupling point of a first transmission arrangement (106) and a restrictive transmission arrangement adjacent to a section of validation (131) of bills; said first transmission arrangement (106) including a main roller and a downstream roller, with each of the main roller and the downstream roller that are coupled to an exposed top bill of said bundle of bills on an upper side of said bill and lead the upper ticket through said transition segment (103) within said bill validation section (131), said restrictive transmission arrangement including a restriction roller in opposite relation to said roller downstream of said first transmission arrangement (106) to limit the passage of intermediate notes to a single thickness of a bill, said restrictive transmission arrangement including an engine (8, 108) that provides a first low torque that rotates said restriction roller in a reverse direction causing a bill to go to said receiving cavity (102) when two bills try to pass between said rod illo downstream of said first transmission arrangement (106) and said restriction roller of said restrictive transmission arrangement; said roller being driven downstream of said first transmission arrangement (106) in a torque greater than the first low torque and providing sufficient force to the upper bill to overload the torque of said restriction roller of said transmission arrangement restrictive of bills and cause said restriction roller to rotate in one direction to pass said upper ticket exposed to said bill validation section (131) when a single ticket is located between the downstream roller and the restriction roller.
