The present invention relates to a method for preparing a functional oriental soy bean paste utilizing the oriental medicine including Sasamorpha purpurascens, antlers, overgrown antlers, and licorice to enhance the immune system and obtain antioxidant activities and the soy bean paste prepared by using the method. The functional oriental soy bean paste preparation method includes the steps of: (a) fermenting the licorice and Sasamorpha purpurascens after blending with syrup and freeze-drying the antlers and overgrown antlers after mixing the ingredients with water; (b) mixing the fermentation of the licorice and Sasamorpha purpurascens and the lyophilized product of the antlers and overgrown antlers at the ratio of 5:3:1; (c) adding the fermented oriental medicine ingredient mixture blended in step (b) to soy bean paste cubes; (d) filling the mixture of the fermented oriental medicine ingredient mixture and the soy bean paste cubes in a jar and sealing the jar while fixing the mixture in saltwater for 2-4 days; (e) repeatedly sealing and opening the jar storing the mixture of the fermented oriental medicine ingredient mixture and the soy bean paste cubes for 30-50 days; and (f) filtering the mixture to obtain the soy sauce after maturing the mixture for three months and maturing the soy sauce for four months.
