The present invention relates to a method to manufacture a nano-composite material by mechanically alloying a graphite-metal composite material, and a nano-composite material manufactured by the manufacturing method. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method includes a first step of mixing expanded graphite powder with Al powder by mechanically allowing the AI powder and the graphite powder for an hour by using a ball mill; and a second step of mechanically allowing the AI powder and the graphite powder for two hours. The mechanical allowing of the second step is a high energy ball mill process.
