Provided is a bridge repair method excluding a mechanical expansion joint, comprising: a first step of removing a mechanical expansion joint (10) installed in an abutment (40) and a slab (30) provided on a girder (20) of a bridge (B) provided with the mechanical expansion joint (10); a second step of cutting and removing a chest wall (42) of the abutment (40) in correspondence to the slab (30) on the girder (20) from which the mechanical expansion joint (10) is removed; a third step of installing a plurality of anchors (50) on an end portion (32) of the slab (30) provided on the girder (20) from which the mechanical expansion joint (10) is removed; a fourth step of closely adhering, in a state where an expansion slab block (60) which has one end portion (62) corresponding to the end portion of the slab (30) from which the mechanical expansion joint (10) is removed and has an anchor groove (64) to insert the anchor (50) to one end portion (62) is placed on the abutment from which the chest wall (42) is removed, one end portion (62) of the expansion slab block (60) to the slab end portion (32) from which the mechanical expansion joint (10) is removed; a fifth step of filling the anchor groove (64), a mortar inlet hole (68I), and a mortar outlet hole (68O) with a non-shrink mortar (68) without shrinking through the mortar inlet hole (68I) and the mortar outlet hole (68O) communicating with each of the anchor grooves (64, 64a, 64b) provided in the expansion slab block (60); and a sixth step of installing an expansion adjusting device (80) between a connection slab (70) and the other end portion (66) of the expansion slab block (60).
