The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating a cancer containing thioridazine and trail as active components. More specifically, as low density thioridazine increases a production of active oxygen species in a cell and activates an proteolytic enzyme, the present invention enables to overcome a tolerance to the trail of a cancer cell and to effectively increase cell death by the trail by suppressing Akt phosphoric acid and decreasing a realization of c-FLIP (L) and Mcl-1. According to the present invention, the pharmaceutical composition or concomitant administration containing the thioridazine and the trail as the active components enables to improve an anticancer activity for the cancer cell.
