Techniques for the characterization of a transmission line

Examples for the characterization of a transmission line are disclosed. Sets of parameters (s - parameters) which, with measured or modeled add damping - (il -) or return flow of damping - (rl -) values are associated by means of a frequency range can be detected for a transmission line.
