An LED light bulb contains an LED 10, LED filaments 20, a base 30, a driving circuit 40, and a light guiding element 50. The base 30 includes a hollow cavity 31 for accommodating the driving circuit 40 and LED 10. The base 30 has an electrical fitting 32 and a bulb holder. The light guiding element 50 is made of photoconductive material and is coupled with the base 30, and includes a light entry end 51 adjacent to the LED 10 to guide light from the LED 10. The LED filaments 20 surround the light guiding element 50, and are supported by the light guiding element.
