In order to develop an electrical assembly, in particular a medium-voltage switchgear assembly, having at least one encapsulated functional module and a pressure-relief channel which extends parallel to a front face of the electrical assembly, is closed at each end, has at least one inflow opening at the bottom for connecting the respective functional module to the pressure-relief channel and has at least one outlet opening which is covered by means of a deflector plate on the electrical assembly or the pressure-relief channel and has a predetermined bending point, said electrical assembly having a compact structure and therefore having a relatively low space requirement, it is proposed that stop means are provided, said stop means defining an outlet direction and determining a size of the outlet opening.
