PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake shoe return spring including means for compensating a wear clearance of a brake shoe friction lining caused by a plastic deformation.SOLUTION: This invention provides a spring 48 comprising a segment 50 for fixing a spring continuously to a disc brake; a second rigidity branch segment B2 connected to the fixing segment 50 around a first deformation axis A1 by a plastic deformable bent part P1; another rigidity branch segment B3 connected to the aforesaid rigidity branch segment B2 by a second plastic deformable bent part P2; and the other rigidity branch segment B4 connected to a far position end part of the aforesaid rigidity branch segment B3 by a third plastic deformable bent part P3 cooperating with the brake shoe related portion directly or indirectly. Each of the rigidity branch segments B2, B3 and B4 is a band-like member positioned at a plane being in parallel with the first deformation axis A1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
