The present invention relates to a brush polymer which has a heterocyclic terminal functional group comprising sulfur, a manufacturing method thereof, and an application thereof. The polymer of the present invention can be applied to a digital memory device which includes the polymer as an activation layer between an upper electrode and a lower electrode. Further, the polymer according to the present invention is a polyvinyl brush polymer which has a heterocyclic functional group comprising sulfur at least in part of the end of a brush polymer.
