The present invention relates to a brush polymer in which a heterocyclic functional group containing sulfur is introduced at the terminal thereof, a method for producing the same, and an application thereof. The invented polymer can be applied as a digital memory device using the polymer as an active layer between an upper electrode and a lower electrode. The polymer according to the present invention is a polyvinylbrush polymer for a memory device having a heterocyclic functional group containing at least a part of sulfur at the end of a brush.
