A roasting heater according to the present invention uses a carbon filament as a heating source. Thereby, a roasting heater, which possesses a carbon filament with excellent durability, safety, and cost-reducing features as the heating source, is installed inside a kettle. The roasting heater generates and emits far-infrared radiation, and uniformly maintains the thermal diffusion, in order to optimally provide original, peculiar and various flavors of coffee beans in a short period of time, thus enhancing the quality of the coffee beans. By the same, problems occurred in existing coffee bean roasting can be resolved. The kettle for roasting coffee beans according to the present invention comprises a main body and a cover member coupled together, a roasting heater on the inside for heating coffee beans, and a stirring member.
