FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for treatment of respiratory tract tuberculosis. Lung resection is performed. Rear and front parts of II rib are resected. Next subjacent ribs are crossed at spine, their number depends on specific clinical situation. Intercostal muscles are dissected in I intercostal space to midclavicular line, wherein I rib is maintained, due to which rib frame of upper limb girdle is left inact. Crossed ribs are reduced in descending order down. II rib is fixed by means of ligatures to transverse process of III thoracic vertebra, and rest of ribs to posterior of underlying rib. New pleural cavity canopy is formed from residues of apical and upper parts of the mediastinal pleura at lower level by means of II rib.;EFFECT: method allows to reduce damage of vessels and nerves, preventing upper limb functions disorders.;1 cl
