The present disclosure relates to the field of communication technologies, and discloses a method for and system of vehicle-carried audio and video transmission, a vehicle-carried terminal and a server. The method comprises the following operations: the vehicle-carried terminal acquiring an audio and video transmission request transmitted by the user, establishing a connection with the server through a plurality of physical links according to the audio and video transmission request, receiving a plurality of audio and video data packets transmitted by the server, merging the plurality of audio and video data packets into one audio and video data stream and decoding the audio and video data stream and outputting the decoded audio and video data stream. Through the plurality of physical links between the vehicle-carried terminal and the server, the plurality of audio and video data packets transmitted by the server can be received and finally the plurality of audio and video data packets are merged into one audio and video data stream. Compared with the method of transmitting one audio and video data stream through one physical link in the prior art, the embodiment of the present disclosure has the advantages that the vehicle-carried audio and video transmission speed is improved and the transmission speed is higher when the physical links are more.
