A kiln for ceramics with improved efficiency (1) comprises a channel (5; 105; 205; 305; 405; 505) with a direction (D) for feeding ceramic products and a plurality of burners (7), wherein such channel (5; 105; 205; 305; 405; 505) includes first zones (8, 108, 208, 308, 408, 508) housing at least one burner (7) and second zones (9, 109, 209, 309, 409, 509) without burners (7), such that the first zones (8, 108, 208, 308, 408, 508) have a greater cross-section than the secondary zones (9, 109, 209, 309, 409, 509) and such that the second zones (9, 109, 209, 309, 409, 509) have a constant cross-section and different cross-section to one another, or variable cross-section, along the longitudinal feeding direction (D).
