Embodiments of the present invention provide an air interface (AI) technology configuration method and device, and a wireless communications system, relating to the field of communications. A method for supporting a wireless access device to configure multiple AI technologies over a same carrier for a UE can be provided, to improve the utilization rate and flexibility of resources on a same carrier. The configuration method comprises: a wireless access device determines at least two AI technologies to be configured over a same carrier; the wireless access device determines configuration information of the at least two AI technologies; the wireless access device sends the configuration information of the at least two AI technologies to a UE, wherein the configuration information of the at least two AI technologies is used by the UE to configure the at least two AI technologies over the same carrier.
