The present invention relates to a novel compound isolated from Sophorae Tonkinensis Radix et Rhizoma, and an isolation method thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to a flavonoid compound which is represented by chemical formula 1 and is derived from a fraction of a Sophorae Tonkinensis Radix et Rhizoma extract.
