The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition including a soybean protein emulsifier. More specifically, the present invention relates to a cosmetic composition having improved emulsification stability of a water-soluble component and a fat-soluble component by containing a bean protein emulsifier and a thickening agent. According to the cosmetic composition of the present invention, a conventional burdensome procedure in which pH correction should be performed by using high methoxy pectin (HMP) as a thickening agent can be skipped, so processes are simplified and productivity can be improved. Moreover, a problem related to the smells of soybean protein is alleviated, so a high content thereof can be contained compared to a conventional using amount. Thus, the cosmetic composition of the present invention can be singly used as a surfactant of a cosmetic material.
