The present invention provides a triage system capable of automatically classifying the severity of a patient by a system in a field, and a triage method using the same. The triage system for classifying the triage of a patient comprises: an indication part delivering an instruction for the patient; a first measurement part measuring a walk ability of the patient; a second measurement part measuring at least one of breath and pulse of the patient; a third measurement part determining whether the instruction delivered from the indication part is actually matched with a behavior of the patient, and measuring a command recognition ability of the patient; a display part receiving results measured from the first, second and third measurement parts and personal information of the patient, and displaying patient severity classification information to the outside; and a personal information storage part storing the personal information of the patient, and providing the personal information of the patient to the display part.
