PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-vehicle electronic equipment operation device which is higher in operability and an in-vehicle electronic equipment operation method.;SOLUTION: The in-vehicle electronic equipment operation device includes an input part 12 for detecting an input position by the hand of an operator and a display part 11 for displaying a plurality of operation buttons 15 for operating vehicle electronic equipment. The display part 11 displays an operation pointer 16 in a display position corresponding to the input position, visibly displays the parts overlapped with the operation pointer 16 of the operation buttons 15, and emphasizes and displays the operation buttons 15 corresponding to the input position.
