PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately extract a parallel translation word phrase at low cost from a group of multilingual documents to which a spirit of content corresponds.;SOLUTION: A parallel translation dictionary creation device comprises a morpheme analysis unit, an estimation unit, a holding unit, an update unit, and a dictionary creation unit. The morpheme analysis unit performs morpheme analysis for each of a plurality of documents to which a spirit of content described using a plurality of kinds of language corresponds, and extracts words from each of the plurality of documents. The estimation unit estimates semantic classification of words extracted for each of the plurality of documents. The holding unit holds the semantic classification of the words estimated. The update unit updates the semantic classification of the corresponding word corresponding to the word in the document being a current processing target, and the word in which the semantic classification is estimated in the document in other language, to the semantic classification of the word in the document being the current processing target. The dictionary creation unit creates a parallel translation dictionary in which a parallel translation relationship of the word between the plurality of kinds of languages is registered, based on the estimation of the semantic classification by the estimation unit and the semantic classification of the word obtained by the update of the semantic classification.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
