PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing-type conductor vibration prevention device that is attached to an overhead conductor to restrain the overhead conductor from generating vibrations due to a breeze.SOLUTION: An opening/closing-type conductor vibration prevention device 1 for suppressing vibrations of an overhead conductor includes: a pair of first and second semi-cylindrical weight parts 21 and 22 for holding the overhead conductor; a hinge part 3 for openably/closably connecting the pair of first and second weight parts 21 and 22; a pair of extension parts 41 and 42 that are provided on the other side of the hinge part 3 in the pair of first and second weight parts 21 and 22 and that are extended like a plate outward from the pair of first and second weight parts 21 and 22; and a plurality of shear bolts 5 for fastening the pair of extension parts 41 and 42.
