the present disclosure relates to genetically engineered polypeptide dimers having a neonatal fc receptor binding affinity fcn, and provides an fcn-binding dimer, comprising a first monomeric unit, a second monomeric unit and an amino acid linker, wherein said first and second monomeric units each comprise a fnn-binding motif. said fnn-binding dimer binds to fmn with greater capacity compared to said first monomeric unit or to the second monomeric unit alone. The present disclosure also relates to the use of said Fcn-binding dimer as an agent for modifying pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties and as a therapeutic agent.
