The present invention relates to a smart band capable of lighting a screen by turning a wrist. The smart band at least comprises a processor, a display screen, and a three-axis acceleration sensor. The method comprises: processing and analyzing collected three-axis acceleration data; and determining the duration and the amplitude of the acceleration data of each of an X-axis, a Y-axis and a Z-axis, so as to determine whether a user is in a wrist turning state. By means of the technical solution of the present invention, real thoughts of a user can be precisely determined, a screen can be accurately lighted when the user turns a wrist, and left-hand and right-hand wearing states of the band do not need to be reset when the user swaps the left hand and the right hand.
