The apparatus for producing customized poetic works comprises: a poetry classification unit which collects a plurality of poetry received from a content database server, classifies the plurality of collected poetry into a plurality of categories in accordance with a preset classification criteria, and provides the plurality of poetry to a user terminal; a poetry gathering unit which gathers a plurality of poetry selected in accordance with user selection information input from the user terminal; a preview content generation unit which generates preview content for customized poetic works by using the plurality of poetry gathered in accordance with user edit information input from the user terminal and transmits the preview content to the user terminal; a customized poetic works payment unit which calculates costs generated at the time of producing customized poetic works by using the preview content generated in accordance with the user request information input from the user terminal, and requests the user terminal to pay the costs; and a customized poetic works producing unit which requests, when the payment of the costs generated at the time of producing the customized poetic works is completed, a printing company server or an electronic book producing server to produce the customized poetic works in accordance with the user request information, and provides the produced customized poetic works to the user terminal or a user.
