The present invention relates to a method for determining the survival of an embryo in a fertile chicken egg using a hyperspectral image. More specifically, according to the present invention, in order to non-destructively determine the survival of an embryo of a fertile chicken egg for a vaccine producing an influenza vaccine by inoculating the fertile chicken egg with a virus and undergoing culturing, obtaining and purifying processes, the inside of the fertile chicken egg is irradiated with halogen light, and a hyperspectral imaging system is applied to search for a wavelength capable of most properly identifying contents. In addition, the flow of an alive fertile chicken egg is detected through a line scan of a hyperspectral image, a CLAHE method, which is an image processing method, and a Gabor filter are applied to emphasize the flow of the fertile chicken egg, and a texture analysis of images is performed, so as to enable the large-scale evaluation of the survival of the embryo in the fertile chicken egg non-destructively in real time at the site. To this end, the method of the present invention comprises the steps of: (a) capturing an ultra-spectral transmission image of 400 to 1,000 nm from a fertile chicken egg irradiated by halogen illumination with an electron multiplying charge-coupled device (EMCCD) camera; and (b) performing a preprocessing method for obtaining a clear image, and determining the survival through a texture analysis after obtaining an image representing the inside of the fertile chicken egg through principal component analysis (PCA) from the image captured by the camera.
