The lighting device (10) is formed with: at least one light scanning module (12-1); wherein each light scanning module (12-1) is adapted to use a respective mirror unit (16-1) with a light beam (4-1) provided by a respective light source (14-1) to scan a respective target scan area (52-1 ) within a respective maximum scan range (50-1); a provisioning device (18) adapted to receive an inclination signal (91) indicating a current inclination (N1, N2) of the vehicle; and a control device (20) which is designed to control each light scanning module (12-1) in such a way that, at least in a low beam mode of the lighting device (10), the respective desired scanning region (52-1) of each light scanning module (52). 12-1) is adjusted based on the tilt signal (91).
