METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DUAL HARMONISATION OF A WORN HEAD-UP DISPLAY SYSTEM TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE OF THE DISPLAY OF INFORMATION FOR PILOTING AN AIRCRAFT WITH THE REAL WORLD OUTSIDE
A dual harmonization method of a head-up display system carried to conform the display of flight information of an aircraft with the external real world comprises: a step (206; 306) of acquisition of N measurements of head postures by a series of different sights Vi which each align a sighting pattern, located at a different fixed position Pi on the display DO with a target vector function of the position Pi, then • - a step (208; 308) for calculating the relative orientation matrix M01 between the display DO in a tilted engagement position in the field of view and the first tracking element D1 as the right array of the system of equations of dual harmonization = for i varying from 1 to N, the vector designating the vector in the inertial frame of the platform corresponding to the target point targeted in the outside real world and being unknown; and the left matrix being the relative orientation matrix M23 between the second fixed element D2 and the inertial attitude device D3, which is potentially incorrect but assumed to be constant as a function of time, and which when unknown requires at least four measurements A head-up display system is configured to implement said dual harmonization method.
