The invention relates to an extruded profiled support made of lightweight metal, preferably aluminum, which is to be used as a vertical and preferably bent profiled support in film greenhouses. By virtue of the design and composition of the profiled support, different properties are combined for which individual components have conventionally been used until now. The invention further relates to cover structures for greenhouses, said structures being made of said profiled supports. Lastly, the invention relates to greenhouses, in particular greenhouses according to the lean-to Chinese greenhouse design. The greenhouse thus becomes an integrated food and energy system (IFES).
