To set a more appropriate page size, according to property of memory access in an application.SOLUTION: A page size determination method includes: acquisition process which acquires the number of cache misses generated in a unit time from an OS; calculation process which calculates a score indicating an occurrence tendency of the cache misses in a page size which has been set in application, according to the application which was operating as process in the unit time; storage process which stores the score in association with the page size; and selection processes S905, S909, S913 and S915 which select the page size used by the process of the actuated application, based on specification S901 of the score related with each candidate page size used for ensuring a memory area, when the actuation of the application is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
