PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excrement-treating material suited for enhancing the deodorization effect of an animal toilet, and an animal toilet using that material.SOLUTION: An animal toilet 1 comprises a partition plate 10 and a container 20. A plurality of excrement treatment materials 30 are laid on the partition plate 10. The excrement treatment materials 30 are dissolved into urine when it receives the urine. The partition plate 10 is formed with many pores 12. These pores 12 pass the urine which has been dissolved in the excrement treatment materials 30. The container 20 receives the urine having passed the pores 12 of the partition plate 10.
