method and system for the elaboration of a multi-layer global cartographic database enabling the elaboration of maps and, more particularly, the elaboration of maps containing topographic, altimetric, vegetation, soil nature and subsidence information, through a collaborative process of use of drone-borne remote sensing (dbss) systems, where information collected during individual surveys is incorporated into a multi-layered global cartographic base whose information is made available to amateur and professional audiences. The system comprises, in addition to the multi-layer global mapping base (BCGMC), an application database, a production infrastructure, a service brokerage system and an accredited operator base.
