The present invention provides a method for evaluating rheological characteristics of an injectable gel comprising measuring flexibility, wherein flexibility is assessed by measuring strain sweep crossing point deformation. The present invention further provides a method of comparing dermal fillers by measuring its flexibility and a method of evaluating dermal filler behavior in human skin by measuring flexibility according to the preceding claims.
