DRONE LANDING PLATFORM SYSTEM WITH CHARGING CAPABILITY AND RETRACTABLE COVER

A drone landing platform system is provided. The landing platform system includes a base portion and a retractable cover. The base portion has a landing surface on which a drone is carried for launching, landing, and storing the drone and at least one leg to elevate the landing surface off the ground. The retractable cover includes a plurality of connected segments, the cover fixed to the base portion and when extended protects the drone from environmental elements when the drone is disposed on the base portion. An autonomous drone charging system is also provided.
