The present invention relates to an apparatus for performing pre·post processing of a nutrient budget calculation model and a method thereof. The apparatus comprises: a nutrient data input unit for suggesting a nutrient inflow item and a nutrient outflow item to calculate a nutrient budget and receiving data on the suggested nutrient inflow item and the nutrient outflow item according to a pre-configured standardization form; a calculation formula expression unit for respectively expressing calculation formulas for each pre-calculated nutrient inflow item and each pre-calculated nutrient outflow item based on the received data; a coefficient selection unit for respectively selecting inflow and outflow coefficients for each of nutrient inflow item and each of nutrient outflow item used in calculating the nutrient budget; and a nutrient budget calculation unit for calculating a nutrient budget using the selected inflow and outflow coefficients and the expressed calculation formulas for each nutrient inflow item and each nutrient outflow item.
